Janet Aronica is the Head of Marketing for Shareaholic, one of the top 20 most popular WordPress plugins and fastest growing content sharing and discovery tools for publishers with more than 200,000 websites using its tools, reaching more than 270 million people each month. Janet focuses on user acquisition and public relations efforts, relying heavily on growing community through content. Prior to Shareaholic Janet was a Marketing Manager at HubSpot, where she worked on lead generation through social media. Janet joined HubSpot through its acquisition of oneforty, where she ran community and marketing efforts. Janet is originally from Buffalo and graduated from St. John Fisher College.

Stephanie Azzarone

Stephanie Azzarone is founder and president of Child’s Play Communications, the first agency to specialize exclusively in public relations, social media and word-of-mouth communications for products and services targeted to moms. Child’s Play will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2013.

Stephanie is creator of the award-winning Team Mom™ blogger network, the voice behind the blog Mom Market Trends, a regular contributor to Engage: Moms and publisher of the newsletter Marketing Communications: Moms. She has been a speaker at numerous conferences, including BlogHer, SheCon, Marketing to Moms, Digital Kids, Kid Power and Toy Fair. Stephanie has also written about or been quoted on the subject of marketing to moms, especially through social media, in dozens of publications, from PR Week to The Wall Street Journal. In 2010, Stephanie was named the winner of the Bulldog Reporter Social Media Innovator of the Year Award.

Prior to launching Child’s Play, Stephanie was vice president and manager of editorial services at the Rowland Company, a top-10 firm, and vice president and assistant director of the marketing communications department at Hill + Knowlton, at the time the country’s largest public relations agency. Before that, she was a freelance reporter for publications such as The New York Times and New York magazine.

At Child’s Play, Stephanie has represented companies and organizations that are leaders in their fields, including Disney, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Hewlett Packard, Hasbro, Reading Rainbow, Parents magazine, The Wildlife Conservation Society and Sylvan Learning Center.

Debbie Bookstaber

Debbie is a partner at Element Associates, where she leads online marketing, affiliate marketing and social media initiatives for their clients. Charlene is a lawyer, turned blogger at CharleneChronicles.com, where she writes about style, health, home, travel, technology and parenting. Charlene has spent over 15 years developing health care laws and regulations in Massachusetts. She has worked for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care; the Commonwealth Health Connector; the Federation of State Medical Boards; the Massachusetts Legislature; and the White House. In addition to her law degree, Charlene has degrees in Economics and Political Science, is a certified aerobics instructor.

As Charlene puts it, her blog, Charlene Chronicles, “just happened”, but her love for it has become her full time occupation. She also founded Metrowest Mamas and considers time spent on Twitter (@CharChronicles) and Facebook (CharleneChronicles) as a business necessity. (At least, that is what she tells her family and friends.)

Charlene is known for her practical approach to law, but she occasionally steps away from the computer so she can experience the awesomeness that is her husband, two kids, two dogs and the occasional long run.

When she is not evangelizing about woman’s confidence, Alyssa delights in her 2 delicious sons and eccentric rescue pooch. A competitive badminton player and BodyCombat addict, she uses these to offset her enthusiasm for wine, beer and most any food. With her unusually patient husband, they live in the Boston area though, being native New Yorkers with bad attitudes about pizza, bagels and the letter ‘r’.

She has a BA degree from Wellesley College and has MSE and PhD degrees from University of Pennsylvania in Computer Science. She enjoys utilizing App Inventor as an educational tool to teach the design and programming of mobile apps to her students.

Cindy Meltzer

She is also skilled in digital content creation and curation and online event programming.

In 2009, Cindy spearheaded social media marketing and online community strategy at Isis Parenting, a Boston-based company that offers retail products and educational programming for expecting and new parents. As Community Manager, and later as Director of Community & Social Media, she built and maintained the brand’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest channels. She revitalized the company blog, turning it into an expert-driven content hub for thousands of parents.
